Webinar: E-LAND Demo Day – Tools for the uptake of multi-vector energy systems

This Webinar aims to explore the challenges that the energy sector is facing by presenting the solutions developed during E-LAND which combine the technological, social, and business aspects. These solutions are modular in design, considering replicability and scalability for later use in future projects. The E-LAND project has encompassed three pilots in Europe and two in India, which diverse regulatory regime and operational environments has served to test the adaptability of the tools to different scenarios.

The webinar is part of a series of dissemination events and activities within the E-LAND Norway project, funded by Research Council of Norway (Project Number: 333143), and which is an extension of E-LAND focusing on bringing knowledge towards Norwegian actors from it. E-LAND has recently concluded and a great amount of learnings in multi-vector energy system decarbonization have been generated.

What to expect
The E-LAND project is coming to an end; however, all the tools have been developed, tested, and deployed in the pilot sites will continue making impact in energy projects around the world. This webinar will present the E-LAND tools showcasing how they can be implemented in an energy-related project to maximize its success from the: technical, economic, and social points of view. During the webinar, experiences from the E-LAND project pilot sites will be presented showing the learnings that different partners have had together with some insights of the future of multi-vector local energy system planning and operation.

By participating in this workshop, you will get a thorough understanding of what the E-LAND toolbox has to offer, and how it may impact your energy community or business. Or maybe you will be inspired by the experience of the project partners to find the solution that makes sense to you. Either way, this is an opportunity to learn from E-LAND efforts, in becoming more energy efficient by managing energy consumption and production.
Furthermore, this event is a very relevant introduction to the event that will be hosted by one of the project partners, Port of Borg, during February of the coming year. If in this event you’ll be able to see how the tools are used, their results and potential impact in energy projects. The February event will showcase E-LAND results, presenting on-site the experience of Port of Borg and what are their next steps after E-LAND.
